CORAL ESTATES SOCCER CLUB ALLIANCE
2023 REFEREE PILOT PROGRAM
The
Coral Estates Soccer Club Alliance is pleased to announce the creation of a soccer referee pilot program to recruit, train and hire teens currently placed in the child welfare system. High School boys and girls, ages 14 to 17, are invited to apply and interview for 60 referee positions created in Dade County. The Coral Estates Soccer Club, with a grant from the Miami Kiwanis Youth Foundation, has teamed up with Citrus Family Care Network, Hope, Heart & Home, and the
United States Soccer Federation in the state of Florida to bring this exciting new program to South Florida.

Referee training will take place in two essential ways:

(1) On-line study modules to teach applicants the Rules of Soccer
(2) On-site field training with Coaching Mentors to teach applicants the finer
points of how to referee a soccer game.

Once this training is complete, graduates will be licensed as USSF Referees and introduced to Club Assignors to work at nearby fields and get paid! Licensed referees will be paid on a per game basis. ($25 - 80.00). All licensing registration fees ($140.00) will be waived, and every graduate will be fitted for a complimentary$100.00 game uniform.

The Alliance is thrilled to offer this referee program to our youth in foster care, provide these teens with part-time income while they are in school, and boost Youth Soccer in our community.
See attached on how to apply, where to go for additional information, and field locations in your neighborhood. Join us our program this spring and start your career as a paid USSF Referee!
