2023 REFEREE PILOT PROGRAM

"The Coral Estates “YOUTH” Soccer Club
Is pleased to announce the creation of a soccer referee pilot program, to recruit, train and hire teenagers. High School girls and boys, ages 14 to 17, are invited to apply and interview for referee positions created in Miami Dade County, at no cost. FREE.
The Coral Estates Soccer Club, with a grant from the Miami Kiwanis Youth Foundation, has teamed up with Citrus Family Care Network, Hope, Heart & Home, and the Florida State Referee organization to bring this exciting new program to Miami Dade County.
Referee training will take place in two essential ways:
(1) On-line study modules to teach applicants the Rules of Soccer
(2) On-site Field training with Coaching Mentors to teach applicants the finer
Points of how to referee a soccer game.
Once this training is complete, graduates will be licensed as USSF Referees and introduced to Club Assignors to work at nearby fields – and get paid!
Licensed referees will be paid on a per game basis. ($25 -$ 80.00).
All licensing registration fees will be waived, and every graduate will be fitted for a complimentary a game uniform.
The Alliance is thrilled to offer this referee program to our youth, provide these teens with part-time income while they are in school, and boost Youth Soccer in our community.
